(07/06/2008) – The special tools project development in Brazil to multinationals have already resulted in many contracts abroad to Hanna. The most recent one, the development of all the tooling set to machine a motor of a truck producer, lead the company to conquer a new customer in Italy. “The results were so positive that the producer recommended us to their furnisher in Italy”, says Eduardo Hanna, Commercial Director.
Projects developed to companies like BorgWarner, Cummins and John Deere had already made the company create a branch in Canada, in Ontario, in 1999. Hanna Canada, besides a team of technicians to support the Canadian and North-American customers, also actuates in tools´ reform and recuperation.
“Tools´ projects are done by our engineering team in Brazil”, says the Director, remembering that in 2005 the company opened a branch in Mexico, where it has two engineers to attend Cummins, in San Luis de Potosi and CNH, in Queretaro.
Exportations already reached 35% of the company income. Today, with the dollar down and the national market growth it is around 20%. Beside the two branches, the company has 10 agents in more than 10 countries.
